The San Francisco Green Festival Expo Launch Party took place at Living Green Design on October 15, 2015. Thank you to host, Davis Dalbok, founder and principal designer of Living Green Design.

Those in attendance at this year's Launch Party included: Mike Hannigan, President and Co-Founder of Give Something Back Office Supplies; Marissa LaMagna, Founder of Bay Area Green Tours; Sandra Hanns, ‎CEO & Founder at San Francisco Sustainable Fashion Week International; Camille Herrera, Leader in Sustainability and Environmental Management; Heather Durham, producer of TV shows on Tech, Art, Green & Sustainability; Mary Lou Bryan, Director of Marketing at DotGreen Community, Inc.; Melissa Leebove, Regional Marketing Manager at Clif Bar & Company; Doris Lau, Laiki Rice Crackers; Gil Padia, UpOut and Regina Ryerson, Clean Solutions for Healthy Homes.

Cono Sur Vineyards and Winery provided organic wine for all attendees to enjoy, sampling a delicious Sauvignon Blanc. To complement the wine, Grub Market, a new online marketplace for local foods, served up fresh berries, melons, nuts and more. Guests enjoyed Laiki Black and Red Rice Crackers and Tumeric Chai Elixir from Spice Pharm. In addition, Vegan Smart was blending and sampling vanilla, chai and chocolate shakes.

Dr. Corinna Basler, President of Green Festivals, Inc., spoke of the new location for Green Festival's 14th year in San Francisco. Taking the challenge to green this historical building, The Cow Palace will serve vegan and vegetarian food. In addition to bringing more sustainable practices to the Cow Palace, Green Festival attendees can discover and buy new sustainable and green products and services from more than 200 sponsors and exhibitors from: Fashion, Body Care, Organic and Non GMO Foods, Home and Garden, Transportation and Renewable Energy. Corinna Basler announced new developments at Green Festival Expo such as adding Portland, Oregon as a new city addition this year! B2B business education sessions start, for the first time in San Francisco, Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 am which are free for exhibitors and a small fee for attendees. San Francisco and Portland will booth feature a new 'local marketplace' where attendees can learn about and purchase products produced locally. The Green Festival "Saves Lives Campaign" initiative providing attendees with the opportunity to adopt homeless pets, is a way for everyone to learn more about pets for adoption in the community and encourage all to adopt, not shop for pets. Other awards at the show include the Green Festival Community Award and Green Festival Brand Award. Winners will be announced Sunday at 3:30pm at the Green Festival Stage.

The San Francisco launch party guests received gift bags full of wonderful green items from Seasnax, Vegan Smart, Laiki Crackers, Grub Market, Nutiva, Primal Pit Paste, Spice Pharm, Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery, I Heart Keenwah and Bamboo Pharmacy. Thank you to our San Francisco Green Festival Expo Regional Director Tamara Diamond, our amazing SF volunteers and all of our supporters. Living Green Design was a beautiful spot for the San Francisco Launch Party and we encourage everyone to come out, bring your friends and have a great time at the Expo November 13 – 15th!
