Amy is a longtime environmentalist and a lover of good food. Combining these passions, Amy works as a legal fellow with the Center for Food Safety (CFS) in their Portland, Oregon office. CFS is a national non-profit public interest and environmental advocacy organization working to protect human health and the environment by curbing the use of harmful food production technologies and by promoting organic and other forms of sustainable agriculture. Amy is part of CFS’s dynamic legal team whose successful legal cases collectively represent a landmark body of case law on food and agricultural issues. Amy works on a variety of issues, focusing on genetically engineered crops and pesticide use and its effect on wildlife, including pollinators. A 2011 graduate from Lewis & Clark Law School, Amy focused on public interest environmental and food law, receiving a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.
